Professional Standards

The protocols and procedures regarding Professional Standards must be followed by all Diocese of Bathurst parishes, diocesan schools and diocesan agencies.

Professional Standards protocols (including Working With Children Checks) must be adhered to by priests, deacons, brothers, sisters, nuns and friars who visit the Catholic Diocese of Bathurst and by Diocese of Bathurst Clergy and Relgious visiting other dicoeses.

Working with Children Checks (WWCC) are also required to be supplied for seminarians, employees, contractors, employees of contractors and volunteers when working in an environment where the individual may come into contact with children.
