Formation days for Sunday Worship in the Absence of a Priest (SWAP)

SUNDAY WORSHIP IN THE ABSENCE OF A PRIEST (SWAP)

The Diocesan Assembly Council in conjunction with the Diocesan Liturgy Commission have organised formation days for presiders of Sunday Worship in the Absence of a Priest (SWAP). All presiders of SWAP are invited to attend one of three formation days being held across the Diocese in September 2015. The day will include a practical guide to presiding and discuss the place of SWAP in the liturgical life of the Diocese.

Dunedoo:     
Saturday 5th Sept at St. Michael’s School Hall, 9 Tucklan Street.

Canowindra: 
Saturday 12th Sept at St. Edwards School Hall, Tilga Street.

Portland:      
Saturday 19th Sept at St. Joseph’s School Hall, Williewa Street.

The seminars will commence at 10.00am and conclude at 3.00pm. The presenters of the seminars will be members of the Diocesan Assembly Council & Diocesan Liturgy Commission. Lunch, morning & afternoon tea are provided. RSVP for catering one week prior to each day.
