REGULAR ECUMENICAL CELEBRATIONS

Throughout the Diocese there are a number of regular ecumenical celebrations and initiatives.  These take place during key liturgical seasons or community focus events.  These include:

·        Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

·        The World Day of Prayer

·        NAIDOC Week

·        Week of Prayer for Reconciliation

·        Refugee Week

·        Palm Sunday

·        Good Friday

·        Advent and Lenten Programmes

·        Christmas Carol Services

·        Local Festivals, eg the Cowra Festival of International Understanding,

·        Music Celebrations, eg the Wellington Service of Word and Song.

·        Special Religious Education (SRE) in State SChools
