Request to unite in prayer for Sri Lanka

Dear Friends in Chirst,

This Sunday, 28 April, I ask the faithful of our Diocese to be united in prayer with our fellow Christians and all the people of Sri Lanka as we mourn the deaths and injuiries that the madness of violence against the innocent has brought. They died witnessing to the victory of Life who will carry them to glory.

On Divine Mercy Sunday, we pray that hearts filled will hate may turn away from vengeance and discover the path of peace.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
