James Sheahan High School raises $1,445 for the Cathedral

James Sheahan Catholic High School recently made a donation of $1,445 to the Cathedral Restoration Appeal.

The money was raised simply by holding a casual clothes day and asking students to give a gold coin donation. "Casual clothes days are always fun and are easy for everyone to be involved in", said Mark Pauschman, Prinicipal at James Sheahan. "This is one way our students and school community can support the imporant work of restoring our Cathedral of St Michael and St John".

Bishop McKenna was grateful for the generosity shown by the students of James Sheahan, commenting on how such a simple idea can have such a positive impact on the restoration project. "It's wonderful to see students from James Sheahan supporting the restoration of our Diocesan Cathedral. Thank you to all who were involved", said Bishop Michael.
