How you can help the Fiji recovery

Local parishes are responding to the devestatioin left by tropical cylcone Winston in Fiji. The category five storm is thought to be one of the strongest ever hit the Southern Hemisphere with winds gusting to 300 kilometres per hour.

The cyclone left a trail of destruction in its wake and wreaked havoc in the Tongan islands of Vava'u and Ha'apai as it moved towards Fiji.

The Diocese of Bathurst is fortunate to have access to free shipping on a container from Brisbane that will be taking goods to Fiji. Money donated from our parishes will be used to purchase essential goods that will be sent to those most in need.

Please contact your local parish office and donate to help our neighbours in Fiji.
